तस्मादुक्तो मयान्येषां वैष्णवानां च वैष्णवः । पुरा ये विप्र मे भक्तास्सुरा मत्पथगामिनः
tasmādukto mayānyeṣāṃ vaiṣṇavānāṃ ca vaiṣṇavaḥ | purā ye vipra me bhaktāssurā matpathagāminaḥ
অতএব আমি তাকে অন্যান্য বৈষ্ণবদের মধ্যেও ‘বৈষ্ণব’ বলে ঘোষণা করেছি। হে ব্রাহ্মণ, পূর্বকালে যে দেবগণ আমার ভক্ত ছিলেন, তাঁরা আমার পথই অনুসরণ করতেন।
