Means to Slay Tāraka: Girijā’s Birth, Kāma’s Burning, and Umā’s Austerities

क्रतवो विहिता भवता स्थितये जगतां च महाद्भुतचित्रगुणाः । अपि यज्ञकृतः श्रुतकामफला विहिता ॠषयस्तत एव पुरः

kratavo vihitā bhavatā sthitaye jagatāṃ ca mahādbhutacitraguṇāḥ | api yajñakṛtaḥ śrutakāmaphalā vihitā ṝṣayastata eva puraḥ

আপনি জগতের স্থিতির জন্য আশ্চর্য ও বিচিত্র গুণসমৃদ্ধ যজ্ঞ-ক্রতুগুলি বিধান করেছেন। আর যজ্ঞকারী ঋষিদেরও—যাঁরা শ্রুত ও কাম্য ফল প্রদান করেন—অগ্রভাগে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন।
