Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Begins with sacred topography (a shrine situated in Gaṅgā) and culminates in a clear devotional promise: worship leads to Suraloka."}
It functions as a phala-śruti for a specific Gaṅgā-tīrtha: worship of Gaṅgeśvara, a Śiva-liṅga associated with the Gaṅgā, is praised as yielding the merit that leads to attainment of Suraloka.
Bhakti is expressed through samabhyarcana—reverent, proper worship—showing that heartfelt pūjā at a sanctified tīrtha is a direct, accessible means to spiritual reward.
Ritual application (Kalpa/Smārta-ācāra) is implied: identifying the shrine’s location (southern side, within the Gaṅgā) and performing proper arcana/pūjā according to prescribed procedure to obtain the stated fruit.
