Narada
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Moves from concrete ritual ingredients to a settled assurance that this is the proper arghya for the Sun."}
It specifies auspicious substances for offering arghya to the Sun, emphasizing disciplined upāsanā where correct materials and method sanctify the act and align the worshipper with Sūrya’s radiance and order (ṛta).
Bhakti here takes a ritual form: devotion is expressed through attentive, prescribed offerings to Bhānu, showing that sincere reverence is strengthened by careful observance of the stated vidhi.
It highlights ritual procedure (kalpa/prayoga-style knowledge) by naming specific upacāra materials and the concept of an aṣṭāṅga (eight-part) arghya, reflecting technical precision typical of Vedic ritual sciences.
