ajñānāvdyāhṛte vākye bhujyatāṃ harivāsare | tasyāpi śuddhirgaditā prāṇāyāmaśatena hi || 66 ||
অজ্ঞতাবশত যদি ‘হরিবাসরে ভোজন করা হোক’—এমন কথা উচ্চারিত হয়, তবু তারও শুদ্ধি বলা হয়েছে—শত প্রाणায়াম দ্বারা।
Narada (teaching in a dharma–vrata context; traditional dialogue frame with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: Harivāsara observance (Ekādaśī-associated sacred period)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes the sanctity of Harivāsara (Ekādaśī-related observance) and teaches that even verbal lapses that weaken vrata-discipline can be purified through a defined prāyaścitta—one hundred prāṇāyāmas—restoring devotional integrity toward Hari.
Bhakti here is shown as careful honoring of Hari’s sacred time (Harivāsara) through restraint; the verse also reflects compassionate dharma by allowing purification when mistakes occur unintentionally, so devotion is maintained without despair.
It highlights prayoga-level ritual discipline and prāṇāyāma as a practical method of prāyaścitta (atonement), aligning bodily regulation (yogic practice) with vrata observance in a dharma framework.
