Śāpaprāpti (Receiving a Curse) — Mohinī Narrative

प्राणसंवर्द्धनार्थाय तेषामेवाप्यधोगतिः । भुज्यतां वासरे विष्णोर्हन्यतां गौर्द्विजान्विता ॥ ६४ ॥

prāṇasaṃvarddhanārthāya teṣāmevāpyadhogatiḥ | bhujyatāṃ vāsare viṣṇorhanyatāṃ gaurdvijānvitā || 64 ||

প্রাণ রক্ষার অজুহাতেও যারা একাদশীতে ভোজন করে, তাদের অধোগতি হয়। বিষ্ণুর দিনে ভোজন করা আর গো-ব্রাহ্মণ হত্যা করা একই সমান পাপ।
