putramitrakalatrādisaṃyutā viharāmahe | tacchrutvā stavanaṃ teṣāṃ vaikuṃṭhaḥ prītamānasaḥ || 42 ||
Narada (narrating within the tirtha-mahatmya context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights that sincere stuti (hymn of praise) offered by devotees draws Vaikuṇṭha’s immediate inner pleasure—showing the Lord’s responsiveness to devotion.
Bhakti is shown as accessible in household life: even amid family ties (sons, friends, spouse), heartfelt praise can please Viṣṇu and invite divine grace.
The verse emphasizes stavanam (structured praise), aligning with disciplined recitation and correct expression—practically connected to Śikṣā (phonetics) and Vyākaraṇa (proper formulation of words) for effective devotional chanting.
