एतां द्वीपवतीं पृथ्वीं परिपालय पुत्रक । कृत्वा दुष्टवधं त्वादावप्रमत्तः सदोद्यतः ॥ २ ॥

etāṃ dvīpavatīṃ pṛthvīṃ paripālaya putraka | kṛtvā duṣṭavadhaṃ tvādāvapramattaḥ sadodyataḥ || 2 ||

হে পুত্র, দ্বীপসমেত এই পৃথিবীকে রক্ষা করো। প্রথমে দুষ্টদের দমন করো; সর্বদা সতর্ক ও সদা প্রস্তুত থেকো।
