The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya
नाशमायाति विप्रेन्द्र तस्मिन्काले जगत्त्रयम् । मानुषेण सहस्रेण यत्प्रमाणं भवेच्छृणु ॥ २९ ॥
nāśamāyāti viprendra tasminkāle jagattrayam | mānuṣeṇa sahasreṇa yatpramāṇaṃ bhavecchṛṇu || 29 ||
হে ব্রাহ্মণশ্রেষ্ঠ! সেই সময় ত্রিলোক ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হয়। এখন শোনো—মানব সহস্র (বৎসর) দ্বারা সেই কালের যে পরিমাপ নির্ণীত হয়।
