Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It identifies sādhunindā and vipranindā as major inner obstacles: a mind habituated to contempt cannot become fit for Viṣṇu-bhakti, which requires humility, reverence, and sattva.
Bhakti is not only ritual practice but also a moral-spiritual disposition; honoring the virtuous and brāhmaṇas supports devotion, while habitual criticism destroys the devotional mood and blocks grace.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught here; the practical takeaway is dhārmic conduct supporting mantra and worship—guarding speech (vāg-niyama) and avoiding offenses that undermine ritual and japa.
