Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It elevates disciplined mantra-recitation to the level of major Vedic rites, teaching that precise, reverent vocal japa can yield the same sacred merit as sacrificial worship.
By emphasizing careful, audible repetition of the mantra, it frames devotion as a practical daily discipline—offering worship through sound and attentive remembrance rather than only through elaborate external rituals.
It highlights Śikṣā (Vedic phonetics): correct articulation of syllables (akṣara) and word-units (pada) is essential for mantra efficacy and for obtaining the intended ritual fruit.
