Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa

दशादिशतिष्कांतं यः स्तेयी रजतस्य तु । चांद्रायणद्वयं तस्य प्रोक्तं पापविशोधकम् ॥ ५३ ॥

daśādiśatiṣkāṃtaṃ yaḥ steyī rajatasya tu | cāṃdrāyaṇadvayaṃ tasya proktaṃ pāpaviśodhakam || 53 ||

যে ‘দশাদিশতিষ্কান্ত’ নামক পরিমাপের রৌপ্য চুরি করে, তার পাপশোধনের জন্য দ্বিগুণ চন্দ্রায়ণ ব্রত বিধেয়।
