তিনি ‘দুর্গা’, ‘ভদ্রকালী’, ‘চণ্ডী’ এবং ‘মাহেশ্বরী’ নামে প্রশংসিত; ‘কৌমারী’ ও ‘বৈষ্ণবী’ রূপেও; তদ্রূপ ‘বারাহী’, ‘ইন্দ্রী’ ও ‘শাম্ভবী’ নামেও কীর্তিত।
