कषायं चैव मांजिष्टं हारिद्रं च प्रकीर्तितम् । उपनीतो द्विजो विप्र परिचर्यापरो गुरोः ॥ २१ ॥
kaṣāyaṃ caiva māṃjiṣṭaṃ hāridraṃ ca prakīrtitam | upanīto dvijo vipra paricaryāparo guroḥ || 21 ||
কষায় (গেরুয়া), মাঞ্জিষ্ঠ (মঞ্জিষ্ঠা-লাল) ও হারিদ্র (হলুদ-রঙা) বস্ত্রও ঘোষিত হয়েছে। উপনয়ন সম্পন্ন করে দ্বিজ—হে ব্রাহ্মণ—গুরুর সেবায় নিবেদিত থাকবে।
