The Explanation of the Twelve-Month Caturthī Vrata
प्रणवाद्यैर्ङेंनमोंऽतैः प्रत्येकं दहने हुनेत् । वक्रतुंडेति ङेंतेन बर्मांतेनाष्टयुक्छतम् ॥ ६४ ॥
praṇavādyairṅeṃnamoṃ'taiḥ pratyekaṃ dahane hunet | vakratuṃḍeti ṅeṃtena barmāṃtenāṣṭayukchatam || 64 ||
প্রত্যেক আহুতি অগ্নিতে এমন মন্ত্রে দেবে যা ‘ওঁ’ দিয়ে শুরু এবং ‘নমঃ’ দিয়ে শেষ। তারপর ‘বক্রতুণ্ড-’ দিয়ে আরম্ভ ও ‘বর্মন্’ (রক্ষা-বাক্য) দিয়ে সমাপ্ত মন্ত্রে ১০৮ আহুতি দেবে।
