तद्दृष्टमात्रं कङ्केन रक्षः क्रोधसमन्वितम् ।

प्रोवाच कस्मादायातस्त्वमितो ह्यण्डजाधम ॥

taddṛṣṭamātraṃ kaṅkena rakṣaḥ krodhasamanvitam /

provāca kasmād āyātas tvam ito hy aṇḍajādhama //

বকটিকে দেখামাত্রই রাক্ষসটি ক্রোধে পূর্ণ হয়ে বলল— “তুই কোথা থেকে এখানে এসেছিস? হে অণ্ডজদের মধ্যে অধম!”
