Adhyaya 11 — The Son’s Discourse on Embryogenesis, Birth, and the Wheel of Saṃsāra
कदाचित् स्वर्गमाप्नोति कदाचिन्निरयं नरः ।
नरकं चैव स्वर्गं च कदाचिच्च मृतो 'श्नुते ॥
kadācit svargam āpnoti kadācin nirayaṃ naraḥ | narakaṃ caiva svargaṃ ca kadācic ca mṛto 'śnute ||
কখনও মানুষ স্বর্গ লাভ করে, কখনও নরকে যায়; মৃত্যুর পর সে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন সময়ে নরক ও স্বর্গ—উভয়ই ভোগ করে।

Pleasure and punishment are both temporary stations governed by karma; therefore one should not treat heavenly reward as the final goal, but seek stable liberation through dharma and knowledge.
