कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः
Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
क्षीणे कलियुगे चैव प्रवर्तेत कृतं युगम् । एषा द्वादशसाहस्त्री युगाख्या परिकीर्तिता,कलियुगके क्षीण हो जानेपर पुनः सत्ययुगका आरम्भ होता है। इस तरह बारह हजार दिव्य वर्षोकी एक चतुर्युगी बतायी गयी है
kṣīṇe kaliyuge caiva pravarteta kṛtaṃ yugam | eṣā dvādaśasāhastrī yugākhyā parikīrtitā ||
কলিযুগ ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত হয়ে শেষ হলে আবার কৃত (সত্য) যুগ প্রবৃত্ত হয়। এইভাবেই ‘বারো-হাজার’ (দিব্য বর্ষের) নামে চতুর্যুগী প্রচারিত।
