Chapter 125
भयात् संस्तम्भितभुज: सृक्किणी लेलिहन् मुहुः । ततोअब्रवीद् देवराजश्व्यवनं भयपीडित:
bhayāt saṁstambhitabhujaḥ sṛkkīṇī lelihan muhuḥ | tato 'bravīd devarājaś cyavanaṁ bhayapīḍitaḥ ||
লোমশ বললেন— ভয়ে ইন্দ্রের বাহু স্তব্ধ হয়ে গেল; তিনি বারবার ঠোঁটের কোণা চাটতে লাগলেন। যমের মতো হা করা ভয়ংকর মুখবিশিষ্ট মদাসুরকে নিজের দিকে গিলে খেতে এগিয়ে আসতে দেখে দেবরাজ ইন্দ্র বিনাশ-ভয়ে কাঁপতে কাঁপতে তখন ঋষি চ্যবনের কাছে বললেন— ‘ভৃগুনন্দন! আজ থেকে এই দুই অশ্বিনীকুমার সোমপানের অধিকারী হবে। আমার এই বাক্য সত্য; আপনি আমার প্রতি প্রসন্ন হোন।’
