Kuntī’s Lament and Govinda’s Consolation
तस्य सर्व सविस्तारं पाण्डवानां विचेष्टितम् । क्षत्तुराचष्ट दाशार्ह: सर्व प्रत्यक्षदर्शिवान्
tasya sarvaṃ savistāraṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ viceṣṭitam | kṣattur ācakṣṭa dāśārhaḥ sarva-pratyakṣa-darśivān |
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন— তখন সবকিছু প্রত্যক্ষদর্শী দাশার্হ শ্রীকৃষ্ণ, ক্ষত্তা বিদুরকে পাণ্ডবদের সমস্ত কার্যকলাপ বিস্তারিতভাবে জানালেন।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Righteous decision-making depends on truthful, detailed knowledge shared with a dharma-minded counselor; the verse highlights the ethical duty to report accurately and to seek guidance from the wise and self-controlled.
Kṛṣṇa, as an eyewitness to events, informs Vidura in detail about the Pāṇḍavas’ activities, setting the stage for counsel and deliberation as tensions move toward the Kurukṣetra war.
