चरितव्रद्याचर्याश्व सर्वे तात तपस्विन: । ह्वीमन्त: पुरुषव्याप्रा व्याप्रा इव बलोत्कटा:
caritavrata-brahmacaryāś ca sarve tāta tapassvinaḥ | hrīmantaḥ puruṣavyāghrā vyāghrā iva balotkaṭāḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে তাত! তারা সকলেই আচরণে তপস্বী ও ব্রতে অচল; ব্রহ্মচর্যধর্ম পালন করেছে। লজ্জাসংযমী, পুরুষদের মধ্যে ব্যাঘ্র সেই পাণ্ডবরা ব্যাঘ্রের ন্যায় তীব্র বলসম্পন্ন।
