Educational Q&A

As indicated by the colophon, the chapter’s focus is Vidulā’s instruction to her son—an ethical and practical exhortation toward steadiness, purposeful effort, and worthy conduct in the face of political adversity and impending conflict.

This line is a concluding colophon: it announces that the 135th chapter of the Udyoga Parva—within the Bhagavad-yāna section—has ended, specifically the episode centered on the counsel given to Vidulā’s son.
