मायासभायां दुर्योधनस्य अवमान-प्रसङ्गः
Duryodhana’s Humiliation in the Hall of Māyā
एष ते नृपते पुत्र: श्रीमान् जातो बलाधिक: । तस्मादस्मान्न भेतव्यमव्यग्र: पाहि वै शिशुम्,“राजन! तुम्हारा यह पुत्र श्रीसम्पन्न और महाबली है, अतः तुम्हें इससे डरना नहीं चाहिये। तुम शान्तचित्त होकर इस शिशुका पालन करो
eṣa te nṛpate putraḥ śrīmān jāto balādhikaḥ | tasmād asmān na bhetavyam avyagraḥ pāhi vai śiśum ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে রাজন, তোমার এই পুত্র শ্রীসম্পন্ন ও অতিবলবান হয়ে জন্মেছে। অতএব আমাদের কারণে ভয় কোরো না; নিরুদ্বিগ্ন হয়ে শিশুটিকে পালন ও রক্ষা করো।
