।। स भीष्मं शरजालेन महता समवाकिरत्
sa bhīṣmaṁ śarajālena mahatā samavākirat | jighāṁsantaṁ yudhāṁ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṁ mahat ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—রাজন! সে ভীষ্মের উপর তীরের এক বিশাল জাল বর্ষণ করল। যোদ্ধাদের শ্রেষ্ঠ, বধ-ইচ্ছায় অগ্রসর ভীষ্ম আক্রান্ত হতেই সেই মুহূর্তে মহা তুমুল যুদ্ধ শুরু হল।
