Go-mahātmyam: Pavitrāṇāṃ Pavitraṃ
Cows and Ghee as Supreme Purifiers
तासाममृतवर्णानां क्षरन्तीनां समन्ततः । बभूवामृतज: फेन: स्रवन्तीनामिवोर्मिज:
tāsām amṛta-varṇānāṁ kṣarantīnāṁ samantataḥ | babhūvāmṛta-jaḥ phenaḥ sravantīnām ivormijaḥ ||
অমৃতসম (স্বর্ণোজ্জ্বল) বর্ণের সেই গাভীদের দুধ চারদিকে ধারার মতো প্রবাহিত হতে লাগল। সেই প্রবহমান দুধ থেকে ফেনা উঠল—যেমন নদীর ঢেউ থেকে ফেনা জন্মায়।
