सर्वकर्मा स्वयम्भूत आदिरादिकरो निधि: । सहस्राक्षो विशालाक्ष: सोमो नक्षत्रसाधक:
sarvakarmā svayambhūta ādir ādikaro nidhiḥ | sahasrākṣo viśālākṣaḥ somo nakṣatrasādhakaḥ ||
বায়ু বললেন— তিনি সকল কর্মের কর্তা, স্বয়ম্ভূ ও নিত্যসিদ্ধ; আদিরও আদি, প্রথম সূচনা। তিনি আদিকারক—প্রথম মূলের উদ্ভব ঘটান—এবং অক্ষয় ঐশ্বর্যের ভাণ্ডার। তিনি সহস্রনয়ন, বিশালনয়ন; তিনি সোম—চন্দ্রস্বરૂપ—এবং নক্ষত্রসমূহের ধারক ও নিয়ন্তা।
