पद्मनाभो5रविन्दाक्ष: पद्मगर्भ: शरीरभृत् । महर्द्धिर््रद्धो वृद्धात्मा महाक्षो गरुडध्वज:
bhīṣma uvāca | padmanābho 'ravindākṣaḥ padmagarbhaḥ śarīrabhṛt | maharddhir ṛddho vṛddhātmā mahākṣo garuḍadhvajaḥ ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—তিনি পদ্মনাভ; অরবিন্দাক্ষ, পদ্মনয়ন; পদ্মগর্ভ, হৃদয়-পদ্মে ধ্যানযোগ্য; এবং শরীরভৃত্, দেহধারীদের পালনকর্তা। তিনি মহাঐশ্বর্যসম্পন্ন, সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট, প্রাচীন আত্মা, বৃহৎ-নয়ন, এবং গরুড়ধ্বজধারী—এই নামসমূহে প্রভু স্তূত হন।
