Śiva-darśana through Tapas and Stuti (उपमन्यु–कृष्ण संवादः)
उमोवाच एवं भविष्यत्यमरप्रभाव नाहं मृषा जातु वदे कदाचित् | भार्यासहस्राणि च षोडशैव तासु प्रियत्वं च तथाक्षयं च
umovāca—evaṁ bhaviṣyaty amaraprabhāva nāhaṁ mṛṣā jātu vade kadācit | bhāryāsahasrāṇi ca ṣoḍaśaiva tāsu priyatvaṁ ca tathākṣayaṁ ca ||
উমা বললেন—“অমরসম প্রভাবশালী হে কৃষ্ণ! তেমনই হবে। আমি কখনও মিথ্যা বলি না। তোমার ষোলো হাজার পত্নী হবে; তাদের মধ্যে তোমার প্রতি প্রেম অক্ষয় থাকবে, আর তোমার সমৃদ্ধিও হবে অবিনাশী।”
