दम्पत्यो: समशीलत्वं धर्म: स्याद् गृहमेधिन: । गृह्माणां चैव देवानां नित्यपुष्पबलिक्रिया
dampatyoḥ samaśīlatvaṃ dharmaḥ syād gṛhamedhinaḥ | gṛhyāṇāṃ caiva devānāṃ nityapuṣpabalikriyā ||
গৃহস্থের ধর্ম হলো স্বামী-স্ত্রীর স্বভাব ও আচরণে সামঞ্জস্য থাকা। আর গৃহস্থিত দেবতাদের উদ্দেশে প্রতিদিন পুষ্পার্পণ ও বলি (অন্ন-নৈবেদ্য) নিবেদন—এই নিত্যকর্ম পালন করা উচিত।
