Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
धारानिनादैर्विहगप्रणादै: शुभैस्तथा बूंहितैः: कुज्जराणाम् | गीतैस्तथा किन्नराणामुदारै: शुभै: स्वनै: सामगानां च वीर
dhārāninādair vihagapraṇādaiḥ śubhais tathā bṛṃhitaiḥ kuñjarāṇām | gītaiś tathā kinnarāṇām udāraiḥ śubhaiḥ svanaiḥ sāmagānāṃ ca vīra vīra |
হে বীর! পর্বতশিখর থেকে ঝরে পড়া ঝরনার কলকল ধ্বনি, পাখিদের মধুর কূজন, হাতিদের গর্জন, কিন্নরদের উদার ও মনোহর গান, এবং সামগানকারী সামবেদী পণ্ডিতদের মঙ্গলময় স্বর—এসবই সেই বনপ্রদেশকে সঙ্গীতময় করে তুলেছিল।
