यदेव ददत: पुण्यं तदेव प्रतिगृह्नतः । न होकचक्रं वर्तेत इत्येवमृषयों विदु:
Transliteration
yad eva dadataḥ puṇyaṃ tad eva pratigṛhṇataḥ | na hokacakraṃ varteta ity evam ṛṣayo viduḥ ||
Translation
দানকারী যে পুণ্য লাভ করে, বিধিপূর্বক গ্রহণকারীও সেই একই পুণ্য লাভ করে। ঋষিগণ জানেন—এই পারস্পরিক ধারাতেই লোকচক্র চলে; নইলে তা চলত না।
