Sukta 140
उपहूतौ सयुजौ स्योनौ दन्तौ सुमङ्गलौ । अन्यत्र वां घोरं तन्वः१ परैतु दन्तौ मा हिंसिष्टं पितरं मातरं च
upáhūtau sayújau syónau dántau sumáṅgalau | anyátra vā́ṃ ghóram tanvàḥ párāitu dantau mā́ hiṃsiṣṭaṃ pitáraṃ mātáraṃ ca ||
Invoked and brought anear, united, kindly, auspicious, O ye two Teeth: elsewhere let your dreadful thing of the body depart. O ye two Teeth, harm not the father, harm not the mother also.
আহ্বান করে কাছে আনা, যুগল, স্নিগ্ধ-আশ্রয়, মঙ্গলময়—হে দুই দাঁত! তোমাদের দেহের যে ভয়ংকর যন্ত্রণা, তা অন্যত্র চলে যাক। হে দুই দাঁত, পিতাকে আঘাত কোরো না, মাতাকেও আঘাত কোরো না।
