Sukta 119
वैश्वानरः पविता मा पुनातु यत् संगरमभिधावाम्याशाम्। अनाजानन् मनसा याचमानो यत् तत्रैनो अप तत् सुवामि
vaiśvānaráḥ pavitā́ mā punātu yát saṃgārám abhí dhāvāmy āśā́m | anājā́nán mánasā yā́camāno yát tátráinaḥ ápá tát suvāmi ||
May Vaiśvānara, the purifier, cleanse me, in that I rush toward the contest through hope; not knowing, with mind (bewildered), as one who begs—what guilt is therein, that I drive it away.
বৈশ্বানর—পবিত্রকারী—আমাকে শুদ্ধ করুন, কারণ আশার তাড়নায় আমি সেই সংঘর্ষ/বিবাদের দিকে ধাবিত হই। অজান্তে, বিভ্রান্ত মনে, ভিক্ষুকের মতো প্রার্থনা করতে করতে—সেখানে যে পাপ/দোষ আছে, তা আমি দূরে সরিয়ে দিই।
