Sukta 106
अपामिदं न्ययनं समुद्रस्य निवेशनम्। मध्ये ह्रदस्य नो गृहाः पराचीना मुखा कृधि
apā́m idáṃ nyáyanam samudrásya nivéśanam | mádhye hradásya no gṛhā́ḥ parācī́nā múkhā kṛdhi ||
This is the waters’ downward-leading, the sea’s resting-place. In the midst of the pool set thou our houses, with faces turned away.
এটি জলের নিম্নগামী প্রবাহ, সমুদ্রের নিবাসস্থান। সেই হ্রদের মধ্যভাগে আমাদের গৃহ স্থাপন কর; তাদের মুখ পরাচীন—অর্থাৎ বিপরীতদিকে—করে দাও।
