Sukta 27
उरुव्यचसाऽग्नेर्धाम्ना पत्यमाने । आ सुष्वयन्ती यजते उपाके उषासानक्तेमं यज्ञमवतामध्वरं नः।
uruvyácasā ’agnér dhā́mnā pátyamāne | ā suṣváyantī yajaté upā́ke uṣásā nákte imáṃ yajñám avatām adhvaráṃ naḥ ||
By Agni’s wide-spreading might, by his established splendour as he rules—hither, sweet-sounding, near unto the worshipper—let Dawn and Night protect this sacrifice, our solemn rite.
অগ্নির উরুব্যচস্—দূরব্যাপী শক্তি—এবং তাঁর প্রতিষ্ঠিত ধাম/তেজ দ্বারা, তিনি যখন অধিপতি হয়ে শাসন করেন; মধুর-ধ্বনিযুক্ত হয়ে, যজমানের নিকটে এসে—উষা ও রাত্রি আমাদের এই যজ্ঞ, এই অধ্বর (পবিত্র ক্রিয়া)-কে রক্ষা করুন।
