अर्वाञ्चमिन्द्रममुतो हवामहे यो गोजिद् धनजिदश्वजिद् यः । इमं नो यज्ञं विहवे शृणोत्वस्माकमभूर्हर्यश्व मेदी
arvā́ñcam índram amutó havāmahe yó gojí d dhanájid aśvajíd yáḥ | imáṃ no yajñáṃ vihavé śṛṇotu asmā́kam abhūr haryaśva médī ||
Hitherward from yonder do we invoke Indra, who winneth kine, who winneth wealth, who winneth steeds. Let him, at our call, hear this our sacrifice: be ours, O tawny-steeded, gracious helper.
ও পার থেকে এদিকে আমরা ইন্দ্রকে আহ্বান করি—যিনি গোজিত্ (গো-জয়ী), ধনজিত্ (ধন-জয়ী), অশ্বজিত্ (অশ্ব-জয়ী)। আমাদের আহ্বানে তিনি এই যজ্ঞ শুনুন; হে হর্যশ্ব (পীত-অশ্ববাহন), আমাদেরই হও—কৃপালু সহায়ক হও।
