आदित् ते अस्य वीर्यऽस्य चर्किरन् मदेषु वृषन्नुशिजो यदाविथ सखीयतो यदाविथ । चकर्थ कारमेभ्यः पृतनासु प्रवन्तवे । ते अन्यामन्यां नद्यं सनिष्णत श्रवस्यन्तः सनिष्णत
ā́ dít te asyá vīryàsya carkiran mádeṣu vṛ́ṣann uśíjo yád ā́vitha sakhīyató yád ā́vitha | cakártha kārámebhyaḥ pṛ́tanāsu právantave | té anyā́m-anyāṃ nádyaṃ saniṣṇata śrávasyantaḥ saniṣṇata
Then have they celebrated this thy heroic power, O Bull, in raptures—when thou didst help the zealous, when thou didst help the friendly. Thou hast achieved for the singers, in battles, for the forward-rushing champion: they, seeking fame, have won each river in turn, have won (it).
তখন, হে বৃষভ (ইন্দ্র), উল্লাস-রসে (মদেষু) তারা তোমার এই বীর্য-পরাক্রমের কীর্তন করেছে—যখন তুমি উৎসাহী (উশিজ্) জনদের সাহায্য করেছিলে, যখন তুমি সখ্যভাবাপন্ন বন্ধুদের সাহায্য করেছিলে। তুমি যুদ্ধে গায়ক-ঋত্বিজদের জন্য, অগ্রে ধাবমান বীরের জন্য, বিজয় সাধন করেছ। তারা যশপ্রার্থী হয়ে, একে একে প্রত্যেক নদী জয় করেছে—(তাই) জয় করেছে।
