स्वरन्ति त्वा सुते नरो वसो निरेक उक्थिनः । कदा सुतं तृषाण ओक आ गम इन्द्र स्वब्दीव वंसगः

IAST Transliteration

sváranti tvā suté náro váso nireké ukthínaḥ | kadā sutáṃ tṛṣāṇá óka ā́ gama índra svabdī́va váṃsagaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

At the pressed Soma the men sing thee aloud, O Wealth-lord, at the outpouring—the hymn-chanters. When, thirsting for the pressed draught, wilt thou come homeward, O Indra, sweet-drinking, eager to enjoy?

Translation

হে বসু-স্বামী! সোম পেষণ হলে, উক্থ-গায়ক নরগণ নিरेक—ধারা-প্রবাহের সময়—তোমাকে উচ্চস্বরে গায়। হে ইন্দ্র, মধুর-পানকারী, ভোগ-আকাঙ্ক্ষায় উদ্‌গ্রীব! পেষিত পানীয়ের জন্য তৃষ্ণার্ত হয়ে তুমি কবে গৃহ/আবাসের দিকে আসবে?
