यस्मान्न ऋते विजयन्ते जनासो यं युध्यमाना अवसे हवन्ते । यो विश्वस्य प्रतिमानं बभूव यो अच्युतच्युत् स जनास इन्द्रः

IAST Transliteration

yásmān ná ṛté vijáyante jánāso yáṃ yúdhyamānā́ aváse hávante | yó víśvasya pratímānaṃ babhū́va yó acyúta-acyút sá janāsa índraḥ

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Without whom men win not victory—whom, when they fight, they call upon for aid; who hath become the measure of the whole; who is the Unshaken, yea Unshaken: he, O peoples, is Indra.

Translation

যাঁকে ছাড়া মানুষ বিজয় লাভ করে না; যুদ্ধ করতে করতে যাঁকে তারা রক্ষাসাহায্যের জন্য ডাকে; যিনি সমগ্রের মানদণ্ড (প্রতিমান) হয়ে উঠেছেন; যিনি অচল—হ্যাঁ, অচল: হে জনসমূহ, তিনিই ইন্দ্র।
