महान्वै भद्रो बिल्वो महान्भद्र उदुम्बरः । महां अभिक्त बाधते महतः साधु खोदनम्

IAST Transliteration

mahā́n vai bhadró bilvó mahā́n-bhadrá udumbáraḥ | mahā́m abhiktá bā́dhate mahatáḥ sā́dhu khódanam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Great verily is the auspicious Bilva; great-auspicious is the Udumbara. Great, when duly anointed, it repelleth the Great (foe): well is the digging made.

Translation

নিশ্চয়ই শুভ বিল্ব মহান; শুভ উদুম্বরও মহান। বিধিপূর্বক অভিষিক্ত হলে এটি মহান (শত্রু)-কে প্রতিহত করে; মহৎ কাজের খনন/উৎখনন শুভরূপে সম্পন্ন হোক।
