रायस्पोषप्राप्तिः। रात्रिंरात्रिमप्रयातं भरन्तोऽश्वायेव तिष्ठते घासमस्मै। रायस्पोषेण समिषा मदन्तो मा ते अग्ने प्रतिवेशा रिषाम
rāyas-poṣa-prā́ptiḥ | rā́trim rā́trim á-prayātaṃ bháranto ’śvā́ya iva tíṣṭhate ghāsám asmáī | rāyas-poṣéṇa sám-iṣā mádanto mā́ te agne práti-veśā ríṣāma
Attainment of wealth and thriving. Night after night, not departing, bringing (supply) as fodder for a horse, it stands ready—fodder for him. Rejoicing with wealth and thriving, with gathered nourishment, O Agni, let not thy successive entrants (guests) do us harm.
ধন ও সমৃদ্ধির প্রাপ্তি। রাতের পর রাত, না সরে, যেমন ঘোড়ার জন্য ঘাস-খড় আনা হয়, তেমনই এটি তার জন্য খাদ্য হয়ে প্রস্তুত দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে। ধন-সমৃদ্ধি ও সঞ্চিত পুষ্টিতে আনন্দিত হয়ে—হে অগ্নি—তোমার একের পর এক আগত অতিথি/আগন্তুক যেন আমাদের ক্ষতি না করে।
