Sukta 55
या ते वसोर्वात इषुः सा त एषा तया नो मृड । रायस्पोषेण समिषा मदन्तो मा ते अग्ने प्रतिवेशा रिषाम
yā́ te vásor vā́te íṣuḥ sā́ ta eṣā́ táyā no mṛḍa | rāyas-poṣéṇa sám-iṣā mádanto mā́ te agne práti-veśā ríṣāma
What arrow of thine, O beneficent one, is in the wind—this is that (same); with it be gracious unto us. Rejoicing with wealth and thriving, with gathered nourishment, O Agni, let not thy successive entrants do us harm.
হে বসু (উদার/কল্যাণকারী), বায়ুর মধ্যে তোমার যে তীরসদৃশ শক্তি (ইষু) আছে—এটাই সেই; এর দ্বারাই আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করো। ধন-সমৃদ্ধি ও সঞ্চিত পুষ্টিতে আনন্দিত হয়ে—হে অগ্নি—তোমার একের পর এক আগত অতিথি/আগন্তুক যেন আমাদের ক্ষতি না করে।
