इन्द्रं वयमनूराधं हवामहेऽनु राध्यास्म द्विपदा चतुष्पदा । मा नः सेना अररुषीरुप गुर्विषूचीरिन्द्र द्रुहो वि नाशय
índraṃ vayám anūrādháṃ havāmahe’nu rā́dhyāsma dvipádā́ cátuṣpadā | mā naḥ sénā aráruṣīr úpa gúr víṣūcīr índra drúho ví nāśaya
Indra, the furtherer of success, we call upon: may we attain success—both two-footed and four-footed. Let no raging army, heavy and scattering its shafts, come near us. O Indra, make the treacheries perish away.
ইন্দ্রকে—সাফল্যবর্ধককে—আমরা আহ্বান করি; আমরা সাফল্য লাভ করি—দ্বিপদ ও চতুষ্পদ উভয়েই। কোনো উগ্র সেনা, ভারী ও তীর-বিক্ষেপকারী, আমাদের কাছে না আসুক। হে ইন্দ্র, দ্ৰোহ/বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা বিনাশ করো।
