शिवो भवेत्यग्न्युत्पाते व्रीहिभिर्जुहुयान्नरः याः सेना इति चैतच्च तस्करेभ्यो भयापहम्

অগ্নি-উৎপাত (অশুভ অগ্নিলক্ষণ) ঘটলে মানুষকে ধান/চালের দানা (ব্রীহি) দিয়ে অগ্নিতে আহুতি দিতে হবে এবং “শিবো ভবেত্” মন্ত্র জপ করতে হবে। তদ্রূপ “যাঃ সেনাঃ” মন্ত্রও প্রয়োগ্য; এই ক্রিয়া চোরের ভয় নাশ করে।
