Related Themes: Agni Purana 306 (dhyāna/prāṇāyāma/mantra continuum)
It teaches a yogic internal-invocation (āvāhana) method: draw the contemplated Supreme Self via the brahmarandhra into the heart-lotus, using the Tāra (seed-mantra ‘oṃ’) as the meditative support.
Alongside its many subjects, the Agni Purana preserves practical upāsanā and mantra-yoga instructions—mapping subtle anatomy (brahmarandhra, hṛtpadma) and mantra-technique (Tāra/Oṃ) into a concise sādhanā protocol.
The practice is aimed at purification and steady remembrance of the Paramātman; meditating with Oṃ and internalizing the divine in the heart is presented as a direct means to inner clarity and liberation-oriented merit.
