FAQs

It teaches an Ayurvedic formulation: harītakī processed in a specified medium (urine), taken with oil and salt as a morning regimen to pacify kapha and vāta disorders.

Alongside theology and ritual, the Agni Purana preserves practical healthcare instructions—dose-regimen style guidance and materia medica—showing its wide scope as a compendium of applied sciences like Ayurveda.

By maintaining bodily balance and removing disease, the practitioner becomes fit for dharma, worship, and disciplined living—health is treated as supportive to spiritual practice rather than an end in itself.
