Related Themes: Agni Purana 280 (sharira/ritucharya context)
Ayurvedic śarīra-vidyā: it gives a diagnostic bodily marker—when snāyu (sinews) and rudhira (blood) are prominent, the limbs (shoulders, arms, shanks, knees) present a distinctly fleshy appearance, useful for assessing constitution and build.
It shows the Purana functioning as a compendium beyond myth—preserving technical, observation-based anatomical and constitutional notes aligned with Ayurvedic body-description (śarīra-lakṣaṇa), alongside its ritual and theological material.
Indirectly, it supports dharmic living by enabling proper care of the body (śarīra), which is treated as an instrument for duty, discipline, and worship; accurate knowledge of one’s constitution aids right regimen and balanced conduct.
