FAQs

It teaches a practical protective worship sequence: offer bali to the deity with the full retinue on a pīṭha, invoke the guardian Kṣetrapāla at the doorway using the bīja “kṣyauṁ,” and install auspiciousness by worshiping Śrī above the door.

Beyond mythology, it preserves applied ritual technology—site-guardianship (kṣetra-rakṣā), mantra-bīja usage, and architectural/threshold placement of deities—bridging pūjā-vidhi with vastu-oriented household/temple procedure.

Honoring Kṣetrapāla at the threshold is meant to avert obstacles and impurity entering the space, while worship of Śrī on the door-lintel invokes prosperity and stable auspiciousness for the residents/worshippers.
