एवं दत्तेन प्रीयन्ते प्रेतलोकगता नराः ॥ अदत्वा प्रेतभागं तु भुङ्क्ते यस्तत्र मानवः ॥

evaṃ dattena prīyante pretalokagatā narāḥ | adatvā pretabhāgaṃ tu bhuṅkte yas tatra mānavaḥ ||

এইদৰে দান দিলে প্ৰেতলোকলৈ গমন কৰা নৰসকল সন্তুষ্ট হয়। কিন্তু যি মানুহে তাত প্ৰেতভাগ নিদিয়াকৈ আহাৰ গ্ৰহণ কৰে, সি বিধিৰ বিপৰীত আচৰণ কৰে।
