एतानि प्रतिगृह्णामि यच्च भागवतं प्रियम् ॥ मार्गमांसं वरं छागं शासं समनुयुज्यते ॥

etāni pratigṛhṇāmi yac ca bhāgavataṁ priyam || mārgamāṁsaṁ varaṁ chāgaṁ śāsaṁ samanuyujyate |

এইবোৰ মই গ্ৰহণ কৰোঁ—আৰু ভগৱতৰ ভক্ত (ভাগৱত) যি প্ৰিয় বুলি মানে সেয়াও। মাংসসমূহৰ ভিতৰত মাৰ্গমাংস (হৰিণৰ মাংস) উত্তম বুলি গণ্য; ছাগ (ছাগলী) প্ৰশংসিত, আৰু বিধিমতে ব্যৱহাৰযোগ্য বুলি কোৱা হৈছে।
